In this collection I captured everything I truly believe in as a designer.
One of the leading concepts of the collection was using trompe l’oeil effect.

The first outfit is a sleeveless neoprene backed longline jacket that looks flat from a distance but at a closer look embossed stripes can be observed. To achieve this impression, I used wooden 3 mm thick sticks and a heatpress. Unexpectedly, the heatpress has worked so well that even basting thread showed as a result.

Outfit number two had constructivist patterns screen printed onto the collar, side stripes and sleeves. At a closer look the pattern looks more sophisticated and shows intense mix of various pigments.

To break down the collection, some pieces were kept clean of graphic patterns. Other pieces are featuring clean raw edge finishes, invisible stitching, hand stitched linings, invisible pockets, and a whole handstitched suit.

As an extension to the collection, a serious of bangles have been created. Its designs were built around the idea of changing the perception on how you see and read the news. The bangles came in 3 sizes and are made of etched hand bended copper sheets. The choice of material naturally fell on copper as it is the colour closest to skin tone.

The collection was designed in nude tones to express exposure and as a protest to Menswear not using enough nude tones in its palettes.
The collection can now be purchased online via Agoraphobia collective.
